Contact Lens + Deco Parts Seller + Scored 2 jobs!!

from my last post about my contacts, i will link you girls to the Facebook store based in Australia where i purchased them from! it is called Hoshimi Lens run by 2 girls, Michelle and Catherine:)


in my opinion, it is easy for me since they are in Sydney! the girls also provide great deals from time to time :)
if you live outside of Sydney, they can do international postage, BUT if you live in Sydney, you can pay $3 for a face trade which i REALLY recommend!

remember when i mentioned i have deco-ed my mirror???
finally going to post pictures up of my work :)
it took me around 4-5hrs to complete! (the small 2mm pearls that border the mirror took me so long!)


since deco parts in Australia are rare and expensive, i purchased all my parts online from Yuki! :) this is her site please check it out!
she sells so many beautiful parts and accessories and also Japanese magazines!

these are the some of the parts i have used on my mirror and bought from her! i have purchased 3 times from her, shipping is fast and the parts are in perfect condition! :)

here is a small step by step guide to how i deco-ed my mirror!

1. I bought this Hello Kitty mirror from San Francisco's Sanrio store years ago! XD you can tell since it's scratching away haha


2. Started off with painting the mirror with magic polish! this is great for easy peeling off if you want to change the deco parts! then i started decorating the border!


3. Started decorating! usually people add in the big parts first but i just started from the corner and worked my way up LOL


4. After finishing, i found the mirror lacking something...so i used light blue 2mm pearls and decorated the thin border! if you can see it hehe


proving it to you that it's actually mine :P i had so much superglue on my fingers!!

i look angry when i took this...it was because i was in a sad/angry mood lol

and yes! i am REALLY happy! i have scored 2 jobs in Retail! YAY :)

UPDATE: Make Up Purchases

hey everyone!

i want to thank each and every one of you for your supporting and kind comments of the rough patch i was experiencing...*heart*

(before i went clubbing lol)

sorry i have not been blogging! i am on holidays and i was not home for a week so i had no access to a computer, and these days i have been applying for jobs in Fashion Retail and have been going to interviews and hanging out with friends!

but of course i have taken pictures of what i have recently purchased!
i will do a separate post for the Accessories i have bought too :)

LET'S START!

1. I ordered GEO Nudy Golden Blue lens (CH-932) from a Facebook store based in Australia! it cost me only $20 AUD for the lens which is cheap :)


it also came with free lens case :) BUT the sad thing is, i only wore these ONCE when i went to clubbing a few weeks ago! and during the night one of the lens popped out of my eye (i dont know how/when because i was intoxicated) but it was so sad when i sobered up and found out one had gone :( i really like these lenses/style! i might re order them again or buy a different blue lens lol


i have a problem where sometimes the lens can pop out because of my eye size. it really annoys me when a lens may pop out when i blink :( i don't like putting back lens on once my make up is done.

3. Remember when i told you i ordered 3 products from AVON? here they are :)


* Glimmersticks eye liner in Blackest Black: $4 AUD


i love this eyeliner! it is really smooth and it is also VERY black :)

* Ideal Shade Creme-to-Powder Foundation in Natural Beige: $12.50 AUD


this really does what it's name says! when you touch it, it feels creamy, almost like a mousse foundation, but once you apply it to the face, instead of a cream texture it feels like powder!
i really like the secret compartment in this product! i can also store my false eyelashes or other small things in there!

the downside of this product i don't like is the SMELL of the foundation! to me, it smells really strong and artificial (lol?) i can practically smell it off my face and i don't like it :(

absolutely LOVE this foundation! i love liquid foundation :) this feels smooth and light and it smells great! it smells fresh and light, unlike the other foundation!

4. 0520 Eyelashes: $9 AUD


please don't be fooled by the packaging! this is obviously a rip off of the Japanese D.U.P Eyelashes packaging haha but i really liked the eyelashes so i bought it!
*GIRLS IN SYDNEY! I BOUGHT THIS FROM HOT DOLLAR! I FORGOT TO MENTION, BUT I ALSO BOUGHT THE 5 PAIR CHEAP EYELASHES FROM HOT DOLLAR TOO! :)*

this short *lazy* make up tutorial shows me wearing these eyelashes, i love them!


my whole face...lol i know i rarely take shots showing my full frontal face!


5. Korean brand pink blush: $8 AUD


i love this shade of pink! it is very cute and reminds me of a shade from CandyDoll :)


you can clearly see the blush properly in this photo :) lol my hair is like 2 different shades now from fading! XD

on the 28th July, i had my 1st Fashion Design presentation! i will post pictures of me modeling for my friend's presentation and i will also show you the dress i had made and got my friend to model :)
for my model who was going to wear my dress, i was experimenting with hairstyles to create for her that will suit my dress! i decided to make a bow shape inspired 'do! i was really proud of it :)


hehe me being comfortable at home with no make up and in home clothes :P

Break Ups & Heart Aches

hey everyone.

something sad happened today, my boyfriend broke up with me.
and i did say i will make a post about him and i!

(him and me at the grand opening of the club i promote for)

His name is Marc, 3 years older than me. he is half Filipino and Australian. we met on Dec last year through a mutual friend. Then we were an item on March 20th. We have been together for 3 months...

long story cut short:
some problems started to arise when i started promoting for a night club, and it came to a point where he wanted to break up, but i talked him into staying.
now that i think of it, that was wrong for me to do. i thought things were going well, as i would quit promoting and going clubbing for him. But noope, he told me how he felt last night and today we officially broke it off and i let go. i finally understood this relationship was going no where because he didn't allow us to move forward. i was the only one who keeps trying, and he wasn't making an effort, so i don't see the point in me trying any harder..

i realised i was blinded in a way by this relationship. i also realised i was the only one fighting to keep us together when he didn't really make an effort. i should have seen the signs.

he was my 2nd boyfriend, since i don't play games because i prefer serious relationships. My 1st boyfriend an i was together for 2 years and 3 months.
but i am coping fine with this...i had a cry last night and today, i will build a bridge and get over it!

i know some of you out there have experienced the same/or something similar. but i am staying positive and you all should too if you are experiencing some hardships with your partner!

many people tell me they expect me to date guys who are chinese/japanese/korean etc but i'm not picky as long as we get a long and stuff...

it still hurts thinking back to the good times and memories we had made, even listening to some songs reminds me of him, such as songs we both listened to in his car...
we are both Supra lovers, and he owns one.


that night where he took me here and asked me out...it was such a beautiful sight, i love the harbor bridge at night!


we went to play "Aqua golf" ! it was cool, it's like playing gold but you hit it into the water! lol


i loved surprising him with little things. such as these cute and yummy cupcakes!!!!

it's sad that i have to give him back his apartment keys...it's sad to walkout the door and say goodbye to what we had. but i did not regret being with him at all, it was fun while it lasted.

we are always experiencing many things. i am young, you are young and we have so much more to experience and learn. of course i have learnt some things in our relationship, and it just makes me stronger and i can feel it.
i know if something is meant to be, it will happen one day!

UPDATE: Accessory Purchases + Make Up Looks

hey everyone :)

this is a post showing some of my purchases i have made recently! i bought new clothes too, but i haven't taken pictures of them yet XD


let's get started!
DIVA (Australian Jewelery store) was having their mid year sale so of course i took advantage of it hehe i think it's cheap! i wouldn't normally spend $30 on a necklace or ring lol

1. Native/Bohemian Necklace: $5 AUD


i love the details on this necklace! and the feathers add a great touch to it as well :)

2.Gold x Black set of Bangles: $7 AUD


3. "Love" Pearl Bracelet: $3 AUD


i think this is very cute! it has a dangling diamante at the end too hehe


4. Gold x Black Chain Bracelet: $5 AUD


love this bracelet! it has many charms on it and i love the hanging gold chains on it too!

5. Gold Antique look Ring: $5 AUD


6. Silver x Black Ring: $5 AUD


7. Black x Silver 3 in 1 Ring: $5 AUD


i love these kind of rings where you can fit 2 or 3 fingers on!
this style is very cool with a rock chic feel to it hehe


8. Pink x Gold Quilted Sling Bag: $30 AUD


i am in LOVE with this bag!!! it was love at first sight hehe
the bag is VERY soft, and i think it is very cute and feminine! the quilted design with the gold studs are gorgeous :) and not to mention the ruffles!!!! so cute


9. Silver Sequined Heels: $10 AUD


okay! so this look was created i think 2 weeks ago before i went clubbing! :)
i really like this look! the green shadow makes my eyes stand out!


How i acheived this look:

1. Highlight brows with white shadow
2. Sweep Green shadow all over lid and halfway through lower lid.
3. Add white shadow to inner corner of eyes
4. Eyeliner pencil around the eye, then set it with gel eyeliner + black eyeshadow
5. Mascara top + bottom lashes
6. Add top lashes + separate lashes to bottom outer lashes

a close up of my eyes...LOL i realised how dodgy i applied my false lashes haha please forgive me! ^___^"


the theme the club i went to (and work at) was "Winter Wonderland" so to get into the theme, i wore my white ear muffs i bought from HK :) the club even had snow machines!
it was really cool since it doesn't snow in Sydney! :( unless you visit other parts of Australia haha i've only seen/played with snow ONCE!


i have also recently deco-ed my purse mirror! i have finished it 2 weeks ago hehe i will post it up in my next post :)
my friend is an AVON Rep, and i have ordered 2 foundations and an eyeliner from her, so i will show you them in the next post too! this is my 1st time purchasing Avon products :)
i think i will also make a post about my boyfriend and i next time hehe
